Why mental health?
We've been supporting mental health awareness from day 1 and it's a cause that is so important to us all. The dream is to unite people through beautiful products that have the power to connect and empower. To this end we're delighted to present the Dove Statement Popon® - created so we can stand strong together no matter what life throws at us.
MQ are the mental health research charity. They transform lives through research, helping to create a future where mental illnesses are understood, effectively treated and one day prevented.
We are proud to be supporting the incredible work of MQ through the profits of our Dove Statement Popon®.
Dr. Sophie Dix, Director of Research at MQ says;
Each year, millions of people are affected by mental illness in the UK and diagnosis and treatment plans for many are still trial and error. Recognised has kindly partnered with MQ: Transforming Mental Health, to help find answers. MQ’s funds 41 mental health research projects dedicated to transforming the lives of those living with mental illness. This research is only possible thanks to donations from individuals and organisations like Recognised. Blue Monday may be one day of the year, but work to take on mental illness is an ongoing journey.”
Introducing Student minds
Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity. We empower students with the knowledge, confidence and skills to look after their own mental health and support others.
It all began whilst Anneka was studying, so we've also teamed up with Student Minds through our Dove Statement Popon®.
Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity. We empower students with the knowledge, confidence and skills to look after their own mental health and support others. Currently, we work with students and staff at over 100 universities across the UK. One of our core activities is training and supporting student-led groups to provide direct, formal peer support groups for students experiencing either eating difficulties or mild depression. We also coordinate a network of student campaign groups, who spread the message about student mental health on the ground.
"We are very grateful to Recognised for supporting our work. Together we will transform the state of student mental health so that all in higher education can thrive."
