The Recognised Community features real life stories from members of our community. Our hope is this section will provide many ‘aha’ and ‘you-too’ moments as we connect through shared experiences. Our research in The Age of Recognition report discovered that people feel less alone when they are given insight into other people’s similar joys and struggles, showing the absolute power of vulnerability. We believe that knowing others can understand, relate and stand beside you, no matter who you are or what you have been through, is an important source of comfort, hope and love.
