Now that the hustle and bustle of Black Friday is over, Giving Tuesday affords us all a chance to think more outwardly and to turn our thoughts to how we can think less about our Christmas list and more on our altruistic actions.

Today is all about giving back.
Now that the hustle and bustle of Black Friday is over, Giving Tuesday affords us all a chance to think more outwardly and to turn our thoughts to how we can think less about our Christmas list and more on our altruistic actions.
It’s on this day that we’re excited to announce the launch of the Recognised Foundation.
With a vision to help people feel seen and valued at times when they need it most, The Recognised Foundation will play a crucial role in providing practical support to families and individuals when facing life’s toughest moments, particularly where the needs are obvious, but so often overlooked: healthy cooked meals for new parents whose precious child is fighting for their life; heartfelt letters to those battling cancer in hospital alone; providing students with access to life-saving counseling when life away from home so often erodes their mental wellbeing, just to mention a few.
With a vision to help people feel seen and valued at times when they need it most, The Recognised Foundation will play a crucial role in providing practical support to families and individuals when facing life’s toughest moments.
It’s at moments like these that the power of recognition is at its most pertinent. When hardship threatens to distance us from those around us and lay the foundations for loneliness. That is precisely where we all need to feel seen and know that we are not alone.
It’s incredible what a small act of recognition can do to build connection and hope and that’s why with much excitement we look ahead to the impact we can create together through The Recognised Foundation by providing these small acts of recognition that generate far greater ripples of connection and hope in our communities.
We all love Giving Tuesday, but giving back can’t be confined to a single day. With that in mind, use the remaining 35 days of 2022 to reflect on how you can incorporate more giving into your everyday actions and purchases. For the 1,511 days that Recognised has existed, it’s been our greatest joy to have helped thousands of people in this challenge and it is our hope that The Recognised Foundation will play a significant role in the years to come in this.
There’s plenty more to share as we head into 2023, but for now, happy Giving Tuesday…. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
